About Me

As a result of my first son—Christopher (above)—being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at 8 years old, I became a mom on a mission. Through my own personal journey healing my own gut and learning about how to care and feed my son with Type 1 diabetes I became so passionate about healing the gut where all “Dis-ease” begins.

With a particular focus on gastrointestinal dysbiosis, reversing type 2 diabetes, toxicity, and addressing the inflammations caused by food intolerances, and histamine, I want you to know you do not have to "just deal with it" You can feel fantastic.

For nearly two decades, I have simultaneously immersed myself in the nutrition and skin care fields as both a Certified Health Coach focusing on a holistic approach using the interconnections of Functional Medicine, and also as a Master Aesthetician.

After graduating Catherine Hinds Institute of Aesthetics, I open a boutique skincare studio while at the same time starting to devour everything I could about nutrition to help my family and clients. My passion for both fields just made sense. Our skin is our largest organ. Its like a giant mouth, what goes into the body will eventually show up outside. Everything is connected ~ Everything!

This connection became crystal clear when I healed myself of lifelong chronic eczema. Years of steroids and even a hospital visit, oatmeal baths and wearing cotton gloves covered in steroid creams to bed every night, yielded to healing my gut with simple healthy lifestyle choices that resulted in clear, beautiful skin.

I took my passion a step further, earning my Health Coach certificate from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition and continued in the School of Applied Functional Medicine with ongoing Fx Med education. I am particularly passionate in helping clients with chronic inflammation associated with GI distress and reducing inflammation in the gut, where disease begins.
